Abstract:
This data represents invasive species locations in Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin and associated data including habitat, infestation size, etc. where available. Locations have been compiled from various Federal, Tribal, State, County, and local organizations and private citizens (source of each record is cited in the "DATA_SOURC" field). Consequently the accuracy in meters of each record varies (an estimate of the location accuracy is provided in the "ACCURACY" field).
Purpose:
The purpose of this data is to help facilitate regional coordination of invasive species management by sharing information between various organizations, providing an educational resource and providing tools to assist with management and planning efforts.
