The accuracy of each record's spatial location varies. The manoomin data was linked to a data set of lake polygons, river polygons and rivers lines. The lake polygon data was derived from MN DNR, GIS data from Glenn Radde. The lake polygon GIS data lacks metadata, but assumed accuracy of 1:24,000. The river polygon GIS data was derived from DNR 24K Lakes, dnrlkpy3, Minnesota DNR - MIS Bureau data set and the line data from DNR 24K Streams, dnrstln3, Minnesota DNR - MIS Burea. Both river polygon and line data sets have an accuracy of 1:24,000.
